About the Writer / Editor
I am Patricia M. Redlin and I have over 25 years of
experience
writing and editing,
turning words from ungrammatical, misspelled, and incorrectly
punctuated paragraphs of dullness into interesting, motivating,
persuasive (and correct) gems of enlightenment.

My Background as Writer / Editor
and Proofreader:
I hold a BA in French from the University of Illinois (Go, Fighting Illini!) and an
MBA in International Management from Thunderbird—the
American Graduate School of International Management (we just called
the school Thunderbird or AGSIM to avoid losing our breath).
My professional writing, editing and proofreading experience includes
- advertising writer and editor
- direct market writer
- sales promotion
- general market writer
- web site copywriter and editor
- English, French, German, and Spanish translation
services
- fiction writer and editor
- technical writer, editor, and proofreader
- manuscript writer, editor, and
proofreader
- document editor
I attended school and lived in
Mexico (one year) and France (three
months), and worked and lived in Germany for four years. I maintain
my fluency in all three languages, but not all at the same time.
(Never ask me to say something in German when I have just been
speaking in Spanish. I may explode. Let me get back into my
English
brain first before asking me to go into another language.) I have
written over 30 short stories and I am currently working on
three or four novels. (I get bored easily and switch from one to the
other frequently.) One of these days I will finish one of the
novels, get it published, and have a collection of my short stories
published while finishing up my second novel. Then I will take a
break for a year or so, but eventually get back to work on my other
novels...all the while still converting all the wrong words into
just the right words for my esteemed clients.

Why is this important to you?
I have been a wordsmith all my life. I know words and how to
employ them effectively. Let me show you just the right words for
your communications.
